Service workers are a programmable network proxy that further blurs the line between web apps and native apps by offering features like offline support, performance enhancements, push notifications & background sync with your server.   This workshop aims to give you a good understanding of how to use Service workers, leverage Service workers' capabilities and pitfalls to avoid, and equip you with implementation patterns. Service Workers are a great addition to your web developer toolbox!

* Hands-on challenges accompany topics covered in this training.

 Prerequisites 

Intermediate understanding of Javascript, Specifically the JS event loop, and experience working with Promises and Async / await.
